AATs Lists

Description

The student will be required to consolidate all of their reception, production and interaction skills during the module. The skills listed below will receive particular attention. To be able to :

  • write a professional letter: present, introduce and conclude a letter or message; formulate a request, a reminder, thanks, etc. using words and expressions related to professional correspondence;
  • describe an industrial process using the passive (BE + past participle);
  • express and compare different degrees of excess and insufficiency using expressions such as far too much, far too little etc;
  • evoke a hypothesis and its consequences using words and phrases such as if, suppose, what if etc + (modal) V (structures traditionally called conditionals);
  • use nouns with a grammatical particularity exactly so as not to hinder communication by using specific plurals (number (in-/countable); consolidation of S2 and replacement of an uncountable by a pronoun;
  • read, listen and discuss two themes: money management in everyday life (purchases, salary, banking, etc.) and means of communication using appropriate words and expressions (e-mail, Internet, telephone, etc.) .);
  • communicate orally to deal with simple situations in daily life and the professional environment.

Learning Outcomes AAv (AAv)

  • AAv1 [heures: 20, E1] : At the end of S3, the student will be able, without resorting to digital linguistic aid tools, to identify in detail explicit information read or heard on subjects of practical life or related to their professional field, for example in the context of an exchange of concrete data or a transaction.

  • AAv2 [heures: 20, F2] : At the end of S3, the student will be able, without resorting to digital language aid tools, to successfully carry out various procedures, in writing and orally, and to express oneself on subjects, concrete or not, in one's field, by linking a series of elements into a linear sequence. The language used will conform to usage, without errors likely to hinder the understanding of the reader or the interlocutor.

  • AAv3 [heures: 20, F2] : At the end of S3, the student will be able, without resorting to digital linguistic aid tools, to choose the appropriate expressions from a defined thematic vocabulary of practical life and to integrate them appropriately into their writing practice (comprehension and production). The appropriate expression will be one among those in use, the use of the expression will be appropriate as long as it suits the context.

Assessment methods

The evaluation is carried out by a long continuous control test and the average of several short continuous control tests
