Description
Manage basic combinatorial digital circuits as well as simplification and circuit construction methods. Know the properties of the different technological families of digital circuits. Know how to use the usual combinatorial circuits (switching, coding, comparison).
Learning Outcomes AAv (AAv)
AAv1 [heures:12,B2,B3] : At the end of this course, the student will be able to write logical equations and construct the diagram of a combinatorial circuit with elementary logic gates, from of its description (textual formulation, operating table, chronogram, etc.).
AAv2 [heures:8,B2] : At the end of this course, the student will be able to use a technical sheet of a combinational circuit and to correctly exploit electrical information (voltages, currents ) and temporal order (propagation time) in order to allow its integration into a digital system.
AAv3 [heures:16,C1,C2] : At the end of this course, the student will be able to describe the behavior then design switching functions, transcoding, comparison and arithmetic operations and logic from usual digital circuits, in accordance with a diagram or specifications.
Assessment methods
The AAv will be validated by the following Assessments: • A long continuous test • Several short continuous tests
