Description
The student will be required to consolidate all of their reception, production and interaction skills during the module. The skills listed below will receive particular attention. To be able to :
- ask for and indicate measurable values using words and phrases relating to size, volume, weight, number, etc.;
- Discuss an unusual phenomenon and its consequence using the so/such structure. . . (that);
- add information without unnecessary repetition by using words such as who, whose, which, that, where;
- describe the characteristics of someone or something using adjectives (qualifiers);
- describe and comment on the way someone acts/how something happens using adverbs (quickly, silently, obviously, hopefully);
- complete a description with a level indication using adverbs (totally, slightly);
- use nouns with a grammatical particularity exactly so as not to hinder communication by using countable and uncountable nouns associated with the determiners (a/ $\emptyset$ /some/a few) and the appropriate form of the verb (singular /plural) ;
- read, listen and discuss the themes of travel, transport and the environment (Travel and transport, Environment) using related words and expressions;
- communicate orally to deal with simple situations in daily life and the professional environment.
Learning Outcomes AAv (AAv)
AAv1 [heures: 20, E1] : At the end of S2, the student will be able, without resorting to digital linguistic aid tools, to identify in detail explicit factual information on subjects of everyday life or relating to work, and to mobilize specific information necessary to accomplish a task, orally and in writing.
AAv2 [heures: 20, F2] : At the end of S2, the student will be able, without resorting to digital linguistic aid tools, to produce detailed, elaborate and precise descriptions in writing and explain and debate the main points of an idea or a problem orally, on various subjects of daily life or the professional environment. The language used will conform to usage, without errors likely to hinder the understanding of the reader or the interlocutor.
AAv3 [heures: 20, F2] : At the end of S2, the student will be able, without resorting to digital linguistic aid tools, to choose the appropriate expressions from a defined thematic vocabulary of everyday life and the environment and to integrate them appropriately into their written and oral practice (comprehension and production). The appropriate expression will be one among those in use, the use of the expression will be appropriate as long as it suits the context.
Assessment methods
The evaluation is carried out by a long test and several short tests
