Description
The assistant engineer internship aims to: * Understanding a need, writing all or part of a specification. * Determination or understanding and application of working methods. * Explanation and restitution of the work carried out in written and oral form. * Ability to provide proof of acquired skills.
Learning Outcomes AAv (AAv)
AAV1 [heures: 100, A1, A3, E1, G3] : At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able to analyze the needs of a sponsor with regard to existing solutions and to propose, while being guided by the supervisor, a translation of the needs expressed into specifications that are sufficiently precise and consistent with a standard solution. He will have previously consulted and assimilated the scientific resources provided to enable him to fully understand the technical context. This knowledge will be presented in the written report at the end of the internship.
AAV2 [heures: 150, B1,C1, C2] : At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able, based on specifications provided, to propose a functional representation (block diagram, UML, etc. .)identifying the scientific problems to be solved and the existing solutions when they exist.
AAV3 [heures: 100, B2, E1] : At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able to adapt a mathematical or other model to one of the problems to be solved. This model may have been seen in academic training or be provided by management.
AAV5 [heures: 300, C2, C4, F1, E4] : At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able to implement a design process for a technical system, in the fields of electronics , IT and/or mechatronics. The student will document all design stages while respecting company standards in order to ensure that the work is taken over by another employee.
AAV6 [heures: 200, C3, D3, D4] : At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able to propose and implement tests to validate a design responding to a given functional representation. The results of these tests will be presented in a complete, synthetic and efficient manner so as to allow their analysis. The student will then also be able to propose modifications to be made to the design to make the prototype functional and in line with expectations.
AAV7 [heures: 200, E3, G1] :At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able to join a team as an engineer. He will be able to adopt a position corresponding to his level of expertise, adopt the method of organizing the work team, use the tools adapted to project management (planning, documentation, monitoring, etc.) and respect methodological standards.
AAV8 [heures: 80, E2, F1, F2] : At the end of the assistant engineer internship, the student will be able to provide proof of the skills acquired through a written report meeting an imposed formal framework and 'an oral restitution. These skills will include the description of the managerial and economic model of the company and of course the technical skills acquired or consolidated during the internship.
Assessment methods
- Company evaluation sheet: work provided in the company, autonomy, ability to understand what is asked of them, punctuality, participation, integration, initiatives.
- Summary sheet presenting the student, the company and what was acquired during this internship. This form must be validated by the company (signature of the guardian and company stamp).
- Internship report (to be validated by the company).
- The report must include a survey of the company's CSR approach
- Internship defense: 25-minute oral presentation followed by 20 minutes of questions in front of a jury composed of two ENIB teachers + possibly the company tutor if present.
