Description

The SHES curriculum consists of several optional modules organised on a weekly basis:

  • The first week is dedicated to “PIMs” (Pooled Interdisciplinary Projects), which students can choose from a range of options offered jointly with IsBlue partner institutions (UBO, UBS, Ecole Navale, ENSTA, IMT). These projects enable students to tackle complex, cross-disciplinary issues through active and collaborative learning formats
  • The second week is an English week dedicated to TOEIC L&R preparation
  • The third and fourth weeks offer modules covering the following topics:
    • quality and environmental quality,
    • introduction to marketing,
    • intercultural management,
    • environmental anthropology,
    • social economy and sustainable development,
    • political science
    • low-tech
    • Issues in protection and industrial property law,
    • business start-ups,
    • human resources management,
    • industrial design,
    • industrial engineering,
    • sociology of work,
    • history of technology and philosophy of science,
    • UX design
    • Introduction to Cybersecurity
    • Digital ethics Students on the MAE dual degree programme follow dedicated modules.

Learning Outcomes AAv (AAv)

-AAV-PIM [heures: 35, E1, E3, E4, F2] : Student will be able to collaborate toward a common goal by applying analytical thinking and reasoning, plan and organize the project, and adapt their actions in accordance with commitments.

  • AAV_GI_optionnel_1_Entreprise [heures: 21, A2, E3, E1, G1]: The student will be able to recall the different flow loops that exist between the services and processes of a company. He will be able to recall the implications of each loop on the others. He will carry out a study aimed at optimizing flows globally.

  • AAV_GI_optionnel_2_MRP [heures: 15, E3, E1, B1, G1]: The student will be able to recall the different concepts and approaches to carry out a problem-solving process. He will know how to lead them in a suitable framework.

  • AAV_GI_optionnel_3_Lean [heures: 36, A2, E3, E1, G1, G2]:The student will be able to recall the different issues and concepts of industrial engineering. He will be able to recall the different typologies of industrial systems and the associated tools and methods. He will be able to present the Lean approach and tools and implement them in a fictitious workshop.

  • AAV_QQE_optionnel_1_SMQ [heures: 18, B1, B2, B3, E1, F1, E3, E4]: In a group, the student will design a strategy for developing a quality management system. In particular, he will be able to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a fictitious company, propose and carry out a quality action plan to improve its products in the long term.

  • AAV_QQE_optionnel_2_Qualité [heures: 12, A2, G1, G2]:The student will recall the different concepts and approaches to implement a quality policy. He will be able to recall the important points of the ISO 9000 standards. He will be able to describe the tools and steps for setting up a quality management system.

  • AAV_QQE_optionnel_3_Outils_Qualité [heures: 12, A1, A2, A3, G1]: The student will recall the different tools used in the industry, throughout the life cycle of a product to evaluate and improve product quality.

  • AAV_QQE_optionnel_4_MSP [heures: 12, B3, G2]: The student will be reminded of the steps to carry out reception checks. He will be able to explain how to set up process control maps. He will be able to recall the steps for setting up a measurement process.

  • AAV_QQE_optionnel_5_Conception_robuste [heures: 18, B2, B3, C4, F1]: The student will explain the different stages of setting up an experimental plan. They will also be able to implement robust design analysis using Taguchi's signal-to-noise ratio and quality loss functions. He will be able to carry out a complete robust design process using crossed experimental designs.
