Learning Outcomes (AAv)

  • AAv_SF_optional [hours: 30, A2, E3, E4, E1, F1, F2]: After 30 hours of training, students will be able to collectively imagine (3 to 5 people) a prospective scenario describing a future they find desirable, specifying the role of science and technology within it, for example through the creation of a short film.

  • AAv_GI_optional_1_Enterprise [hours: 21, A2, E3, E1, G1]: Students will be able to recall the different flow loops that exist between company services and processes. They will be able to recall the implications of each loop on others. They will conduct a study aimed at optimizing flows globally.

  • AAv_GI_optional_2_MRP [hours: 15, E3, E1, B1, G1]: Students will be able to recall different concepts and approaches to carry out problem-solving approaches. They will know how to conduct them in an appropriate framework.

  • AAv_GI_optional_3_Lean [hours: 36, A2, E3, E1, G1, G2]: Students will be able to recall different issues and concepts of industrial engineering. They will be able to recall different types of industrial systems and associated tools and methods. They will know how to present the Lean approach and tools and implement them in a mock workshop.

  • AAv_QQE_optional_1_SMQ [hours: 18, B1, B2, B3, E1, F1, E3, E4]: In groups, students will be able to design a strategy for evolving a quality management system. They will know how to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of a fictional company, propose and carry out a quality action plan to improve its products long-term.

  • AAv_QQE_optional_2_Quality [hours: 12, A2, G1, G2]: Students will be able to recall different concepts and approaches to implement a quality policy. They will be able to recall important points of ISO 9000 standard references. They will know how to describe tools and steps for implementing a quality management system.

  • AAv_QQE_optional_3_Quality_Tools [hours: 12, A1, A2, A3, G1]: Students will be able to recall different tools used in industry throughout a product's lifecycle to evaluate and improve product quality. Specifically, they will know how to:

  • Explain what a needs analysis is and design one using the APTE method.
  • Explain the points of product FMEA and process FMEA.
  • Explain what functional analysis, value analysis, technical analysis are.
  • Explain tools and approaches to improve workstations.
  • AAv_QQE_optional_4_MSP [hours: 12, B3, G2]: Students will be able to recall approaches for conducting reception controls. They will know how to explain how to set up process control charts. They will be able to recall approaches for implementing a measurement process.

  • AAv_QQE_optional_5_Robust_Design [hours: 18, B2, B3, C4, F1]: Students will be able to explain different steps in setting up an experimental design. They will also know how to implement robust design analysis using signal-to-noise ratio and Taguchi quality loss functions. They will know how to carry out a complete robust design approach using crossed experimental designs.
