International internship in a company or research laboratory for 9 weeks, to be completed during the summer following S6 before entering S7

  • Apply technical and practical knowledge acquired during the first three years at ENIB in a professional environment
  • Discovery of the company at technician level (position in the hierarchical chain, strengthening of technical confidence)
  • Discovery of the company in an international context
  • Better self-knowledge in a professional environment

Learning Outcomes (AAv)

Mandatory AAv

  • AAv_E1 [hours: 0, E1]: By the end of the technical internship, students will be able to train themselves using provided resources on a subject imposed by supervisors in relation to assigned tasks. They will know how to reinvest acquired knowledge to improve their work and gain autonomy.

  • AAv_E_F [hours: 0, E2, E3, F2]: By the end of the technical internship, students are able to integrate into an intercultural professional context by respecting their position in the company, soliciting and integrating others' viewpoints in an intercultural context (mandatory international mobility) and interacting appropriately according to the communication situation.

  • AAv_F1 [hours: 0, F1]: By the end of the technical internship, students will be able to present their international company experience in the form of a video less than 5 minutes long including a description of their experience and reflection on their intercultural experience.

  • AAv_G2 [hours: 0, G2]: By the end of the technical internship, students will be able to respect industry standards and procedures to ensure reliability and reproducibility of their work results autonomously.

Optional AAv

  • AAv_D [hours:, D1, D2, D3, D4] (OPT): By the end of the technical internship, students will be able to implement a solution in the form of a prototype or program following the procedure described by supervisors and evaluate its performance by testing autonomously and rigorously the solution following proposed experimental protocols.

Assessment Methods

  • Evaluation by the company supervisor will focus on work performance, autonomy, and human behavior of the intern.
  • Summary sheet (F5) submitted named as specified by the Corporate Relations department and validated by the deputy for corporate relations.
  • Video presentation of the professional experience abroad respecting intellectual property and image rights rules.
