Description

Teaching takes the form of an acquisition project in a flipped classroom. Students work in teams of 3 or 4. The resource course covers the following points:

  • Modelling of perfect systems,
  • method and application to real systems
  • simulation of the operation of a real system
  • validation tests

Learning Outcomes AAv (AAv)

At the end of the 7 weeks, the student should be able to..

  • AAv1 [heures: 10,B2] : Correctly produce a mechanical model of a multi-ddl system from a meaningful example.

  • AAv2 [heures: 10,B3] : Calculate the equations of motion of the system correctly, draw up the simulation diagrams correctly.

  • AAv3 [heures: 15,B2] : Correctly produce a numerical model of the system (on a machine).

  • AAv 4 [heures: 15,B4] : Correctly analyse the results of the system simulation.

  • AAv 5 [heures: 10,F2,F1] : Give a correct oral presentation of the work done by his/her team and the project schedule; correctly document the team's work and personal contribution to the project.

Assessment methods

Individual oral assessments, formative then certificative, final presentation by the team.

Key Words

mechanical models, simulation.
