UE D : Engineering approach

This unit aims to implement a complete engineering approach, in IT development, mechanical design and industrial control. Students will:

• design and manufacture a mechanical system with electrical control, according to given specifications.
• study the control of such systems in all-or-nothing control (electrical and pneumatic power circuits, wired and programmed control parts, specifications by GRAFCET, safety devices).
• Develop simple interactive software (for example a game) which works in text mode in a Linux terminal with the Python language by implementing the main stages of a development cycle: expression and analysis of the need, design, implementation, testing and delivery.
